Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the location was great for exploring the city and China town, the room being next to the lifts had a cold vibe to it. However, the staff went above and beyond to assist with early check-in and other items, despite some lack of courtesy in certain instances. The dining options were overpriced but served with exceptional service.
Upon arriving, I found the hotel to be functional, though the rooms seemed a bit aged and not as depicted on the website. The lack of any view made the initial impression feel somewhat soulless. The service, however, was top-notch, with a very professional and obliging staff reminiscent of my pleasant past stays. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to the city and surrounding attractions, while providing a quieter retreat. The dining experience had its highs and lows, ranging from disappointing to lovely ambiance and beautiful settings. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and areas for improvement.
Upon arrival, the hotel was a charming place, albeit with some room for improvement. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, offering ample space for belongings, yet they could benefit from a touch of modernization. The service was exceptional, especially as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The location was excellent for accessing the city centre and transport options, although a noticeable draft in the window area was a minor inconvenience. While the dining options were limited and somewhat disappointing, the grandeur of the building made up for it. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel has a great central location, perfect for attending events nearby. The rooms were noisy and dated, but we appreciated the complimentary service. The service staff were friendly and helpful, although there was a slight negative incident overheard. The dining options were varied, with some highlights and some disappointments.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and tastefully decorated to the era of the Windsor, making my experience truly relaxing. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and the central location allowed for easy access to various attractions in Melbourne. While the dining experience fell short of expectations, the overall value for money was satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and charm. The rooms were beautiful and very quiet, providing a cozy atmosphere, although the heating took a bit of time to figure out and I felt a bit cold initially. The heritage building needs refurbishment as the furniture looked banged up, losing its expected luxury and charm.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were lovely, and having breakfast in-room was a real treat. The location was perfect for exploring the city, especially with easy access to the free tram network. The service was exceptional, with the staff making me feel right at home. The dining options were delicious, although a bit pricey. Overall, a great value for a wonderful experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The rooms were clean and comfortable, overlooking Spring St and surprisingly quiet, making for a peaceful night's sleep. However, there was a mix-up with the room service on day 2, and I had to contact reception for milk. The service staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially to my wife when she had issues with her meal service in a different room. The location was fantastic, providing easy access to everything we wanted to see and do in Melbourne. Dining was a bit of a letdown with overpriced and ordinary food, despite the outstanding service. The facilities were overall satisfactory, offering a decent experience.
The hotel offers a central location close to major city attractions and China town, providing a convenient stay without the hustle and bustle. The rooms, while a bit dated and claustrophobic, surprised me with a view of Little Collins Street. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ready to assist with any requests. The dining experience had its ups and downs, showcasing fresh fruit options but lacking in quality for some breakfast items. Overall, a great choice for exploring marvellous Melbourne.
The hotel offered a much-needed relaxing stay with a comfortable bed and beautiful room, though it was smaller and noisier than expected. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff. The location provided easy access to the city and public transport. The dining experience was not recommended, but there are plenty of eateries nearby. Overall, a decent stay with some ups and downs.
