central location friendly staff great coffee
The location is central, close to the Princess Theatre (perfect for theatre enthusiasts). I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a good start to the day with great tea and coffee.

The concierge staff was very helpful, assisting with directions and recommendations (they even arranged a wheelchair for my husband). I did appreciate the staff's attentiveness and willingness to assist. They addressed all my needs efficiently.

Breakfast in the dining room was like a special event. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was of a high standard. I especially enjoyed the pancakes! The restaurant also offered a good selection of wines.

The room size was fantastic and comfortable, equipped with a whisper quiet Fujitsu air conditioning unit. The bathroom featured luxurious amenities (the bathtub filled quickly). The bed was comfortable, contributing to restful nights.

room quality friendly staff prompt car retrieval
the staff were friendly. the concierge assisted with car parking, and my car was retrieved quickly upon departure.
the windows had a film and it limited natural light, i think clear windows would enhance the room's atmosphere.

the hotel boasts a lively cricketers bar, though it can get quite noisy, especially in the evening with its limited high table seating, it serves a variety of beverages and snacks for a quick bite.

The vintage lift and charming staircase add to the hotel's character, it also features posters of distinguished guests who have stayed here. The building has classic architecture and elegant decor throughout.

The hotel's location is prime. It allowed quick access to many attractions. The provided toiletries were a plus. I also really appreciated the clean bed linen!
The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times.
